I don’t quite understand animal charity commercials like the one for the ASPCA featuring Sarah McGlaughlin. Cruelty to animals is horrendous, but aren’t there enough human problems that need our money and attention. Millions of people go hungry every day, even though this country produces enough food to feed all 300 million people 3000 calories a day. When we can solve that problem, perhaps then we can save a few animals.
