Many East Boston waterfront projects languish - The Boston Globe

Good article by the Globe that asks why East Boston can’t get any of its stunning waterfront property developed. The comments are revealing — East Boston is still perceived to be a Boston backwater where you go either to board a plane or get robbed. My comment is #22, and is posted below.

I’ve finally begun developing, processing and scanning my photos from my trip to New Mexico. I had a feeling I would enjoy taking pictures in the southwest, and to me these are among my favorite photos I’ve taken. 

There’s still a lot left to scan and adjust, and I’ve still got seven more rolls to develop (or get back from the lab — E-6 takes forever). I’ll write more about the trip soon, I’m still organizing my thoughts. For now, check out my flickr and my photo site to see them.

UPDATE: That $100,000 bottle of Ace Midas champaign was one of the six (large) bottles in the world. It’s known for its floral notes, subtle yeast accents and long creamy finish. The Boston Bruins guzzled it from the Stanley Cup and directly out of the bottle. Doing it right. Go Bruins.
