Well, who knew that running a disk permissions repair, shutting down the iMac, unplugging all cables for two minutes, then restarting while holding option+command+R+P would make such a difference in the way my computer was running. Thanks AppleCare!

Android, and How It Will Take Over the World →
A good article by John Herrman at Gizmodo about what exactly Android is and why all tech nerds are excited by it (and why non-tech nerds should be too). I bought a G1 when it first came out, and after using it for the past year my bet is on Android for the future of smartphone OS. The iPhone is amazing, but I really like Android.
